Who We Are
Mr. Westerfield is an experienced, highly trained lawyer who is a native of Colorado.
Mr. Westerfield received his undergraduate degree from Weber State University in Ogden, UT, where he received a full ride scholarship for policy debate. Mr. Westerfield won the Delta Sigma Ro National Policy Debate Championship and decided to use those skills to become a lawyer.
Mr. Westerfield came back to Colorado to go to law school at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. While at DU Law, Mr. Westerfield was a member of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. In addition, Mr. Westerfield was a member of the Native American Law Student Association, worked for the public defenders office, as well as for Colorado Legal Services by helping low income citizens obtain free legal services.
Mr. Westerfield has also received his M.A. from the University of Denver in Rhetoric and Communication Ethics. While working on his M.A., Mr. Westerfield became the head coach of DU's policy debate team and taught undergraduate courses in public speaking and argumentation.
